Erin Little, 12" x 12", oil on linen
Erin is an oil painting major and another newcomer to the club. More new members mean more new faces to paint. Good deal!
My plan was to frame Erin's fair skin tone with the darks of her hair and the dark green background for a chiaroscuro effect. I didn't particularly plan for it, but the canvas being an extra-fine texture linen, I occasionally used a fine sable brush, which I don't use often.
